ADMIN ASSISTANT FOR STAFFING AND HR

22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (exact days can be negotiated)

Grade 4, pt 5 – 6

Salary £25,583 - £25,989 (Actual Term Time Salary £13,429.35 - £13,951.01)

We are seeking to appoint an Admin Assistant for Staffing and HR.      

You will work under the supervision and guidance of the Business Manager to provide efficient and effective administrative support for the school.  

You will:  

  • Have an eye for detail and accuracy  
  • Be friendly, hard-working and professional  
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Be able to prioritise your own workload  
  • Be a good team player  
  • Have relevant experience relating to HR/admin
  • Be focused on achieving the best outcomes for Peters Hill 

Qualifications:

  • NVQ L3 or relevant subject or equivalent qualification relating to admin/HR
  • Excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills  
  • Excellent ICT/keyboard/typing skills  
  • Willing to undertake the relevant training as required

Hours of work:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday          8.00am – 4.00pm

(working hours are subject to change in order to meet the needs of the school) 

Closing Date:      Friday 23 January 2026 at 12noon

Interview Date:   Friday 30 January 2026 (time to be confirmed)
