L3 SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT ; PART TIME; 32.5 HOURS PER WEEK; TERM TIME ONLY

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated L3 SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT to join our highly qualified team of SEND teachers and support staff.  This post attracts a SEND allowance

Dawley Brook Primary School is a one-form entry community primary school with a strong reputation for inclusion, care and high expectations. Working in partnership with our small but supportive community, we take collective responsibility for the success we expect of all stakeholders.

Oak Tree SEND Unit is a Local Authority-commissioned specialist provision for children with Education, Health and Care Plans identifying communication and interaction as their primary need. Oak Tree operates as an integral part of our inclusive school community: The highly inclusive culture is one of the standout features of Dawley Brook. Pupils who have struggled elsewhere thrive here (Ofsted March 2024).

We have had extensive Local Authority capital investment in our Oak Tree SEND Unit this summer, commissioning additional places and by January 2027, we will have 24 learners.

This is an exciting time to be joining our school and the successful applicant will be helping to shape our extended SEND provision within its new premises, working with an experienced team of staff.
