The Brier School, including the Unicorn Satellite Centre is a successful all-through special school serving pupils with complex learning needs. Our designation is for ‘moderate learning difficulties’, however in recent years, the complexity of pupils joining The Brier School has increased significantly.

In our schools within Ascent Multi Academy Trust, we aim to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children feel safe and valued, and are actively encouraged and supported to achieve the very best they can.


Location: The Brier School                        Position: Cleaner

Contract: 11 hrs per week, 43 weeks

Salary: Grade 1, SCP 3                          Start Date: As soon as possible


The Brier School are looking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our friendly site team. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.

Duties will include cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the school. Candidates should be able to work independently, take pride in their work and demonstrate a commitment to health and safety procedures.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is dependable, has a positive attitude and is committed to supporting the school community.
